PositionWe are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead and execute a variety of civil engineering projects, including site design, grading, road design, and hydrology. The ideal candidate is a motivated self‑starter with strong technical expertise, proven leadership abilities, and a track record of mentoring junior engineers. This role offers opportunities for client interaction, project leadership, and business development in a collaborative, team‑focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and perform civil engineering design and drafting for projects from conception to completion.
- Prepare technical documents including reports, design drawings, and specifications.
- Train and mentor junior staff in technical skills, software, and project execution.
- Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D for design and drafting; oversee and review work prepared by others.
- Perform engineering calculations, hydrology and hydraulics analysis, and site layouts.
- Communicate effectively with regulatory agencies, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Provide field services, including construction observations and technical documentation.
- Prepare project fees, contribute to marketing efforts, and assist with business development.
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET/EAC‑accredited program (Master’s degree preferred).
- 9–12+ years of relevant civil engineering experience, depending on education.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the U.S. with active NCEES record.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D; familiarity with hydrology and hydraulics software.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing large project teams and budgets.
- Ability to travel and attend local client or company meetings.
- Pre‑employment drug test, background check, and valid driver’s license required.
