Lab Technician, Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) Student Worker

Responsibilities- Prepares equipment for laboratory use
- Maintains an accurate inventory of equipment and supplies
- Assists students in labs with understanding the objectives of the laboratory
- Assists students in developing troubleshooting skills
- Assists with preparing and setting up equipment and parts needed to conduct laboratory assignments
- Assists instructors as needed with lab equipment
- Assists with lab safety and procedures
- Confers with instructors and Lab Assistants to determine supply and equipment needs
- Performs maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of basic electronics tools and equipment
- Knowledge of lab safety procedures and processes
- Willingness to learn and help others
- Current Wake Tech Student enrolled in a program in the Engineering, Technology and skilled trades division with a minimum of 9 college credit hours completed and a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- One year of experience in Electronics Engineering Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
