Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Water/Wastewater Project Manager with deep knowledge of the industrial water market in Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC. The Senior Project Manager will develop, perform, and manage water/wastewater programs with a focus on treatment, management, and reuse. Work includes treatment plant process evaluations and troubleshooting, feasibility studies, bench scale and pilot scale studies, design, plant operation, and regulatory negotiation/permitting.
The Senior Project Manager will also provide client management and technical support for design/build programs for the construction of new treatment works and upgrade of existing treatment works. Will also mentor and direct a team of junior engineers.
We're looking for an individual with a technical background that would preferably include an M.S. degree in environmental engineering with a focus on water/wastewater treatment. Should have prior experience serving as a consultant working on complex accounts, significant relationships with industrial customers, and the ability to develop and implement a strong growth strategy.
Required Skills & Required Experience- B.S. Degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering (preferred).
- Professional Engineering license preferred.
- Minimum 7 years consulting experience with a primary focus in the industrial market.
- Capacity to manage major clients and projects in both traditional A/E design, as well as design/build with a proven competence in project management and client management.
- Ability to develop and implement multi-disciplinary and multi-geography client action plans.
- Ability to directly develop new multi-discipline work.
- Ability to manage development of new work for multi-discipline and programmatic pursuits.
