Our client is actively seeking new team members to assist in Data Acquisition and Extraction using the latest technologies in Terrestrial, Mobile and Airborne LiDAR. This opportunity will expose you to the newest technologies on the market! Candidates must reside in the Raleigh, NC area. The salary range for this role is $65,000-$85,000 depending on level of skill and experience.

Position Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Static, Mobile and Aerial LiDAR collection
  • Minimum 3 years progressive experience in CAD.
  • Surveying experience is preferred. Traditional data collection experience a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with LiDAR classification.
  • Working knowledge with point cloud data collected by airborne and/or mobile methods.
  • Excellent computer and technical skills, including AutoCAD, Revit and/or Carlson.
  • Must have the desire to learn new technologies, software, hardware, methodologies and assist the LIDAR team to operate with maximum efficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven work history, strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
  • Must have a valid driver s license, an acceptable motor vehicle record, clean criminal record, and negative drug test result.
Position Description
  • Assist in collection of data utilizing Static, Mobile or Aerial LiDAR.
  • Perform Registration and Classification of LiDAR point clouds.
  • Feature Extraction of 2D and 3D Linework from LiDAR point clouds.
  • Perform general CAD tasks including drafting and processing of survey data.
  • 3D modeling in Revit / AutoCAD from Construction Documents.
  • Daily processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to aerial mapping products.
  • Perform field work as needed. Occasional out of town work required.
