We are seeking an experienced full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our Architecture and Engineering (AE) team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of projects and building types, making a significant impact in our field.

• Possess a good working knowledge of the International Mechanical Code and Energy Conservation Code.
• Maintain strong communication skills and work effectively within a multi-discipline project team.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment with minimal oversight.
• Exhibit excellent organizational skills with strict attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently under pressure with a positive attitude.
• Have working knowledge of codes and standards such as SMACNA, NEC, IBC, IMC, IECC, and ASHRAE.

• 10+ years of mechanical engineering and HVAC design experience.
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Revit.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent commercial HVAC design experience.
• Strong knowledge of calculations, design, layout, and specification of commercial and institutional HVAC systems.
• Experience with HVAC replacement projects and project management.
• Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• Experience working on projects within higher education.

• Experience in project management.
• Skill in plumbing design and Revit design.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification.

The position is based in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. The firm is a 50+ person company experiencing growth in the MEP sector. This offers the unique opportunity to be part of the expansion in a primarily architecture-focused firm.

This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC.

The pay range for this position is $ - $/yr.
