We're regularly tackling real-world constraints like fitting new equipment into tight existing spaces or ensuring buildability within operational facilities. As a senior engineer, you'll not only lead technically, but also serve as a project manager and client liaison-playing a key role in maintaining our 95% client referral rate. This position reports to the Vice President overseeing electrical staff in the Raleigh Office.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10-20 years of experience in lighting, lighting controls, and interior/exterior power distribution
- PE license required
- Experience with MV (medium-voltage) distribution preferred
- Experience working in the federal sector, including familiarity with UFC, UFGS, and FAR
- RCDD certification is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, AGI
32, and SKM or Easypower - Experience conducting fieldwork, including physical demands of site visits
- Existing client relationships in NC/SC, Mid-Atlantic, or South-Central U.S. is a strong plus
- Experience with higher education and NC State Construction Office systems
- U.S. Citizenship is required (no dual citizenship) due to government project access restrictions
