• Integrate and optimize autonomous flight control systems for Unmanned Systems (UxS), with a focus on payload delivery capabilities.
• Proficient in coding, with experience in languages such as Python, C++, C3, etc.
• Have hands‑on experience with UxS platforms such as Ardupilot, Px4, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Hex Orange Cube, Pixhawk, etc.
• Integrate and test various payloads, sensors, and equipment on UxS platforms, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Utilize Additive Manufacturing techniques to enhance and customize UxS components, contributing to innovation and efficiency.
• Lead the prototyping, construction, and assembly of UxS, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Provide professional training and instruction to customers on UxS technologies, flight operations, payload delivery techniques, and assembly.
• Develop and conduct UxS training programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in instruction and be adaptable to various learning styles.
• Foster and maintain connections within the UxS community, particularly within the military sector, to stay informed about emerging trends and collaborate on mutually beneficial projects.
• Willingness to travel (domestic and international) as needed to support UxS operations and training initiatives.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in UxS technology by actively researching news, techniques, and procedures.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer, Software, or other applicable discipline) or equivalent practical experience; master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing autonomous flight control systems for UxS.
• Strong expertise in integrating and testing payloads, sensors, and other equipment on UxS platforms.
• Proficiency in coding with experience in PYTHON, C++, C3, etc.
• Hands‑on experience with UxS platforms such as Ardupilot, Px4, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Hex Orange Cube, Pixhawk, etc.
• FAA Part 107 certified or willingness to obtain this certificate.
• Professional instruction experience with the ability to adapt to various learning styles.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with building and flying FPV drones is a plus.
• Relocation to greater Raleigh / Durham area required.
