Overview
The Business System Administrator will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and providing various levels of support for the company’s business applications which include Deltek Costpoint ERP and Time Collection, and other in-house developed applications. We are looking for an individual who is a problem-solver that can effectively communicate with others at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities- Day-to-day maintenance and administration support for the Cospoint application
- Work with vendors on application enhancements and upgrades
- Trouble shooting and resolution user technical issues
- Develop application specific reports using Access and Excel
- Generate and maintain admin and user documentation, including training and reference materials
- Work with other departments to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource to be resolved quickly and efficiently
- Keep curren on the latest system releases
- Test enhancements, upgrades, and system changes to the current applications
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and driving the continuous improvement of our business systems to support initatives
- Recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of applicable experience
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills
- Be a confident self-starter who pays close attention to detail while working in an engaging, fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
- Excellent customer service skills including initial contact through problem resolution
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Time and Expense, Concur, SQL, or Cognos is a plus
- Ability to work in teams, manage projects and multitask
- Professional demeanor and ability to display a positive professional attitude
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting functions
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and procedures in a complex business environment
