Responsibilities
  • Fabricating metal particles using facilities in Prof. Thuo’s laboratory
  • Facilitating the 3D printing of particles and characterizing resulting microstructures, mechanical properties and composition gradients
  • Facilitating the 3D printing of complex metal particles to control microstructure and mechanical properties
  • Conducting research relevant to the group’s focus on complex metal particles, their microstructures, and properties
  • Assists in preparing presentations and writing proposals
Qualifications

Minimum Experience/Education
Master of Engineering in Materials Science & Engineering or related field.

Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated Hiring Range: $20-$25
