OverviewWe are seeking a Project Engineer (Transportation) to join our Civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of civil engineering design experience specific to transportation and roadways. All candidates must understand the plan development process from inception through completion. We look for a strong technical leader with Microstation experience, including CONNECT edition and Open Road Designer, who can lead technical teams and interact with clients on local, community‑enhancing projects.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Project Engineer
- 7+ years of successful project experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microstation is a must
- Knowledge of Illinois Department of Transportation or Illinois Tollway design standards, procedures and specifications is a plus
- CONNECT and Open Roads Designer experience is a plus

Individual compensation is determined by education, experience, training, qualifications, licensure/certifications, and location. Employees are eligible for discretionary annual bonuses. The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000 annually.
