Job SummaryThe successful candidate will assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Design and Development:
Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and products using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Revit). - Support the development of schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design requirements are met.
- Testing and Analysis:
Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis to ensure design integrity and compliance with specifications. - Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes and final products.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design and testing phases.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports. - Assist in the creation of technical presentations and project status updates.
- Project Support:
Work with senior engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones. - Participate in the selection and evaluation of electrical components and systems.
- Provide support during Construction Administration.
- Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering - Experience:
Two plus years experience is preferred, not required. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical). - Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, signal processing, and power distribution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability:
Flexibility and willingness to work on various projects and tasks, embracing new challenges with enthusiasm. - Initiative:
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward. - Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., IEEE, NEC). - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).
