At Eaton, you’ll help solve the toughest challenges on the planet by developing next‑generation intelligent power management solutions. In this two‑year rotational program you’ll work across diverse business units, gain deep technical expertise, and grow leadership skills.
The Power Electronics track focuses on building Power Electronics Technology Platforms and common hardware building blocks for innovative solutions. Rotations may be within a specific business unit or span broader technologies across the enterprise. The program includes technical learning, a Core Learning Series, mentorship, and strategic networking opportunities.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering from an accredited institution with graduation date before August 2026.
- Minimum one internship/co‑op or 3 months of Power Electronics work experience completed at the time of application.
- Geographic flexibility to relocate within the United States during the program.
- Eligible for U.S. work authorization;
Eaton does not sponsor immigration visas.
- Leadership experience on campus or in the community.
- Two or more relevant internships or co‑op experiences.
- Experience in Power Electronics hardware or control design, power conversion, model‑based design, or electrical testing and validation.
- Exposure to simulation or modeling tools such as RTDS, OPAL‑RT, Typhoon, dSPACE, or MATLAB.
- Experience with machine learning or AI concepts, including AI‑assisted development tools and generative AI models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Up to 25% travel within a local region.
- Relocation to any Eaton facility in the U.S. (e.g., Raleigh, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Southfield, Torrance).
- Responsibility for transportation to and from the worksite; business travel expenses (excluding the worksite) are reimbursed.
