Semiconductor Device Engineer

Qualified candidates must have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi‑task and a friendly demeanor. Candidates must be detail oriented, reliable, and self‑motivated to contribute at a high level to driving sustainable growth of the company.

• Development of device prototyping and process development for Kyma’s device efforts as well as customer’s processing requirements
• Compile and prepare data, reports, presentations, and other documents
• Use of JMP, Origin, Excel / MS Suite, Kyma Net (data and inventory management system)
• Interface directly with internal and external customers to understand project requirements and communicate fabrication plans

• Familiarity with Power Electronics and Semiconductor Physics
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities
• Multi‑tasking and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Able to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision
• Deductive reasoning, critical thinking, and active listening skills
• Highly motivated and willing to learn new systems
• Semiconductor cleanroom experience, particularly III‑N or other WBG semiconductor processing experience is a plus
• 5+ years’ experience or MS/PhD in relevant area of study
