Roadway Engineer - Entry Level

We are currently seeking an entry-level civil engineer for roadway engineering in our Raleigh, NC office.

The Roadway Engineer will participate in the planning and design on transportation related projects. The primary duties will be to support senior engineers in a variety of tasks in the field of roadway design. Responsibilities will include performing roadway design, field investigations, preparation of construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and the development of technical reports.

• Perform roadway design, field investigations, preparation of construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and the development of technical reports.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 0-4 years of relevant experience
• Ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Experience with design software tools such as Micro Station preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
