Project Manager, Division 10

Our Client is a commercial and architectural openings solutions company. We provide industry-leading commercial doors and hardware products and services to help make buildings smart, aesthetically pleasing, code compliant, and sustainable.
Position SummaryThe Division 10 Project Manager will be responsible for organizing, planning, and managing commercial construction door and hardware projects. This role requires building and maintaining positive relationships with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Division 10 Project Manager will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver assigned projects on time while meeting specifications with accuracy and efficiency
- Define project tasks and delegate responsibilities appropriately
- Perform cost analysis and estimate expected project costs
- Develop and implement project budgets based on prepared estimates
- Conduct risk assessments, report identified risks to management, and recommend mitigation strategies (including project termination when appropriate)
- Respond to questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project duration
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company, customers, and vendors
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to deliver training and information needed to promote and sell new projects, programs, and systems
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
- Prepare detailed submittals and shop drawings using DFH Software (Comsense platform)
- Execute revisions, change orders, and attend job site meetings as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in the Door, Frame, and Hardware Industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and familiarity with CAD
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specification documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Customer‑focused approach with a friendly, respectful, and positive attitude
- Effective team collaboration skills
Knowledge of building codes related to door and hardware applications, including fire codes, windstorm requirements, ADA compliance, life safety standards, and general commercial construction codes - Understanding of Division 10 accessories such as toilet partitions, lockers, visual display boards, and other architectural specialties
Preferred:
- Bachelor's or Technical degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- DHI certifications
- Experience working in Comsense software
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Requirements- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds
