Job Duties

The Department of English is accepting applications for the position of Lecturer on a full- time and/or part-time basis in areas such as Composition, Literature, Linguistics, Film Studies and Screenwriting, Creative Writing and Professional Writing for Summer 2026, Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.

Other Responsibilities

* Perform other duties as assigned by the department head.

Minimum Education and Experience

* Requires master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience

* Demonstrated commitment to excellent teaching

* Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Special training or experience with online or blending/hybrid instruction is desirable

* Graduate coursework in writing pedagogy is preferred
