University Housing provides inclusive living and learning experiences through residential education and community engagement. As a unit within the Division of Academic and Student Affairs, University Housing promotes the success of the whole student. With over 10,500 residents, 14 living and learning communities, or "Villages," an Experience and Engage Programming Model (EEP), University Housing strives to create a preeminent residential experience.
University Housing's dedicated staff commit to serving residents, guests, and families through education, support, collaboration, organizational excellence, service, and providing a sense of belonging.
The Village Program Coordinator provides administrative and experiential learning program support for a residential engineering living-learning community (Village) serving 100+ sophomore and transfer students in the Wolf Ridge Apartment Community. The Program Coordinator collaborates closely with both internal and external strategic partners to develop and implement sequenced and scaffold learning experiences that help students have a deeper understanding of engineering. The Program Coordinator cultivates a community that centers a sense of belonging and well-being while also connecting students with high-impact experiences that supports achieving goals and student success outcomes.
This role helps to supplement a current Program Director vacancy in the Centennial Engineering Village established by a signed MOU in 2024 between University Housing and the College of Engineering. The MOU outlines holistic support for a stratified experience between the engineering and centennial engineering villages with a focus on rising sophomores and newly admitted transfer students, the change of degree audit process, intro to engineering majors, strong academic foundation, career readiness and mental and holistic wellness.

Job Duties
- Plan, implement, and manage village programs and experiential learning activities aligned with University Housing's program model, Engagement and Education Plan, and campus partners.
- Coordinate logistics for programs, events, trips, and initiatives, including purchasing and budget documentation.
- Serve as a chaperone for day and overnight trips as needed.
- Support the village application, screening, assignment, and communication processes.
- Maintain accurate records related to budgets, program participation, assessment, and reporting.
- Provide supervision, coaching, and performance feedback for student mentors and a graduate assistant.
- Build authentic relationships with students through a visible, accessible presence within the residential community.
- Design inclusive, high-impact learning experiences that promote student success, belonging, creativity, and well-being.
- Refer residents to appropriate resources to support academic, personal and professional development.
- Cultivate collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Foster an open and welcoming community while modeling professional and ethical leadership.
