What You Will Be Doing- Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 learners, coaching them while reinforcing literacy concepts introduced by Reading Specialists
- Encouraging students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and meet their weekly academic targets
- Guiding emotional self-regulation, persistence, and critical thinking skills through consistent frameworks and supportive interactions
- Monitoring student development and individual needs, identifying concerns proactively, and adapting approaches with your team
- Building a classroom environment that balances structure, engagement, and individual connection
- Must be available to work full-time and on-site at our location in Chicago, IL;
Miami, FL;
Palo Alto, CA;
San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA - Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, after school programs, coaching, or comparable roles
- Strong storytelling ability and dynamic presentation skills: capable of capturing and maintaining the focus of young children in group settings
- Capacity to maintain rigorous expectations for both yourself and students, and motivate children to achieve their objectives
- Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to coaching
- Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
