What You Will Be Doing- Facilitating adaptive reading workshops that build core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension
- Creating personalized engagement sessions that resonate with children and foster enduring enthusiasm for reading
- Reviewing student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and identify actionable trends
- Partnering with the technology team to assess and refine AI-powered literacy tools
- Implementing pre-packaged curricula or published instructional sequences
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate a passion for reading in young students
Basic Requirements- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree or advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience providing small-group reading interventions to early elementary learners
- Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction without reliance on pre-written curricula
- Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to respond to student behaviors observed through them
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Willingness to work on-site at one of our locations:
Chantilly (Washington), VA;
San Francisco, CA; or New York City, NY

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
