Overview

What You Will Be Doing- Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 learners, coaching them while reinforcing reading competencies taught by Reading Specialists
- Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning applications and meet their weekly academic targets
- Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving through consistent structure combined with warmth
- Monitoring student development and needs, identifying concerns early, and adapting approaches in partnership with your team
- Building a classroom environment that balances structure, playfulness, and individual connection
- Must be available to work full-time and on-site at our campus in San Francisco, CA or Miami, FL
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- 3+ years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational, after school, coaching, or comparable settings
- Engaging storyteller and dynamic speaker: capable of capturing and maintaining the attention of young children in groups
- Capable of maintaining high expectations for yourself and students, and motivating children to achieve their goals
- Growth mindset and openness to coaching
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
