Engineering Day Camp Assistant Counselor

Location:

Raleigh, NC

Job Type: Temporary

Responsibilities
  • Support teacher team leads and counselors by managing and preparing materials for hands‑on engineering challenges.
  • Escort campers between rooms and buildings.
  • Assist with daily drop‑off and pick‑up processes.
  • Help close Friday camp events and maintain facility upkeep.
  • Take camp photography and keep the environment organized.
  • Serve as a role model for campers.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a high school education program that incorporates STEAM coursework.
  • Experience working with children in a group setting.
  • Organizational and teamwork skills.
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Pay: $12.00 per hour.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Dates of Employment:
June 15 – August 7 2026 (camp preparation and camp days).
