Primary Care Physician Physician

Overview

The Physician serves as a health-care professional capable of handling a variety of health-related problems. The position involves moderately complex to complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors. This is a Variable Service Provider position and hours are not guaranteed. The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention.

Keeps a medical history and medical records. Refers patients to specialists as needed. Begins to influence department strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

The Physician role is patient-facing and may be part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

As a primary care physician, you will:

• Provide outpatient medical care focused on preventive health, disease management, and health maintenance.
• Maintain and update patient medical histories and records; refer to specialists as needed.
• Influence departmental strategy and determine objectives and approaches for assignments with substantial independence.
• Collaborate with integrated care teams to deliver compassionate, personalized care.

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 or more years of technical experience
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
• Prefer Internal Medicine specialty
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
• This role is patient facing and may involve TB screening; TB screening may be required.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

$270,800 - $378,800 per year
