Join Our Team as a Locum Physician – General Medicine NC

We are seeking dedicated General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across North Carolina. Required Skills:

Active medical license in North Carolina

Board-certified or eligible in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or similar general medicine fields

Experience with compensation and pension examinations preferred

Excellent interview and physical assessment skills

Strong communication and professional demeanor

Nice to Have

Skills:

Prior experience with VA or government-related assessments

Familiarity with range of motion and muscle strength testing

Ability to work independently in a clinical setting

Prior telehealth or remote assessment experience

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution

Minimum of 2 years clinical practice in general medicine or related specialties

Prior experience conducting VA exams or similar evaluations is advantageous

Other Requirements:

Providers must have their own office locations within specified radius areas or be willing to travel locally

Ability to perform exams on a PRN basis, with flexibility for half or full-day shifts

Compliance with credentialing and onboarding procedures

Availability to start on or before February 2, 2026

No prescribing or treatment involved; exams primarily involve interviews and physical assessments
