The Wake Med Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APP's within their division. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of Wake Med Physician Practices and Wake Med.

We are currently seeking physicians with an interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join our group in Morrisville, NC. Our current group consists of 7 physicians and 4 APPs (including 2 midwives) who are focused on providing excellent obstetric and gynecological care to our patients throughout patient and delivery services as well as treatment for chronic conditions related to women’s health.

Call schedule is 1:8 on average and the physician is primarily based at one location; however, may rotate to an alternate office to cover as needed. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents and medical students.
