We are seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a 24-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Jan 1, 2026, and features 10-12 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with call requirements and potential weekend work. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be licensed in North Carolina.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide anesthesia care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases
Participate in advanced procedures including TAVR, CABG, and Mitra Clip
Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR
Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards during all procedures
Respond to emergent situations and provide perioperative support as needed

Additional Information
Must have an active North Carolina medical license
Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required

Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
