Overview

UNC Family Medicine at Hedingham is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine). This clinic provides the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and the ability to make a difference in patients' lives. This position is open to both new and experienced physicians.

• Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine;
• An active, unrestricted NC medical license, or the ability to obtain one;
• An interest in working with a medically complex adult population;
• Experience and interest in working with mental health in a primary care setting is a plus.

Education Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: DEA; ACLS; MD/DO;
Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in English.

Reasoning Ability:
High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
