Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Senior Designer/Architect to join our team on-site at our Raleigh, NC office. In this role, you will help lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities include creating architectural designs, collaborating with team members, managing project execution, and ensuring integration of architectural and technical components. You will also liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to deliver innovative and high-quality design solutions aligned with project goals and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Principal Architect in the coordination and management of workload.
  • Support Principal Architect leading design team meetings with clients.
  • Assist the Principal Architect in the development and management of contract documents and specifications.
  • Assist with quality control of design deliverables, ensuring adherence to design objectives, budgets, code requirements, and other regulations.
  • Lead internal team efforts during production and delivery stages.
  • Review and verify own work for relevance and accuracy of dimensions, notes, abbreviations, and indications.
  • Assist with the development of presentation materials as required.
  • Perform all other related tasks necessary to accomplish the project.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 5+ years’ of professional experience in architecture.
  • Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software required (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficiency in modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM platforms), graphic tools (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), preferred.
  • Proven experience researching/developing appropriate details and construction sequencing.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Self-directed, willing to take initiative and employ strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and LEED accreditation is an asset
