Senior Technical Architect​/Production Manager Position – Raleigh, NC

Position Title: Senior Technical Architect / Production Manager
Location: Raleigh, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Principal Architects and Junior Staff members to coordinate and manage project workloads, and technical competence effectively.
• Support the Principal Architect in facilitating design team meetings with staff, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Lead in the preparation and oversight of contract documents and specifications.
• Lead quality control for design and document deliverables, verifying compliance with design goals, budgets, codes, and regulatory standards.
• Lead internal teams during production and delivery phases to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
• Exhibit expert technical skills in detailing and constructing building envelopes.
• Review and verify work for accuracy, including dimensions, notes, abbreviations, and other notations.
• Undertake additional project-related tasks to support successful completion.
• Mentor junior staff daily, sharing knowledge in architecture, construction document preparation, and building code applications.

Qualifications& Experience:

• 10+ years of professional experience in architecture, with at least 5 years focused on delivering public projects from inception to completion.
• Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software required (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Proficiency in modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM platforms), graphic tools (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), preferred.
• Expert-level knowledge of building codes and their application to built environments.
• Expert-Level technical competence on detailing buildings and assembling Construction Documents.
• Proven experience in developing and researching construction details and sequencing.
• Strong initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive both independently and in collaborative team settings.
