Senior Lead Designer Architectural

Learn about your exciting role as Senior Lead Architectural Designer  position works under the supervision of Architects and Engineers to assist in drafting and designing buildings and other structures while mentoring interns. The primary stakeholders include the Client, Design Leads, and Exyte Management team, and daily interaction occurs with Project Management, QA/QC Manager, and the Architectural Discipline Lead.

• Assist in preparing reports, studies, and graphics using common software.
• Guide and oversee the team to achieve correct technical solutions to design and client problems while mentoring interns and junior team members.
• Operate Autodesk Building Systems software as needed.
• Coordinate and review architectural drawings and models for completeness, constructability, and coordination.
• Collaborate with design and technical teams while supporting or leading the development of design deliverables from studies to construction documents.
• Understand standard installation details, client BIM standards, and industry drafting and design standards.
• Maintain primary accountability for all architectural designs, sharing engineering responsibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience.

• LEED® AP with Specialty or GA (Green Associate) preferred.
• Previous experience on large projects is helpful.
• Experience executing projects using Autodesk Building Systems software.
