Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design vision for our suite of products
  • Create interaction and visual designs for new product features
  • Identify areas for improvement based on our competitive landscape as well as industry trends and best practices
  • Understand and clearly communicate the information architecture, workflows, and processes surrounding the user experience
  • Work with developers to implement strategies that ensure technical success

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience designing modern and usable web applications
  • Knowledge of industry design trends and strong opinions about UX best practices
  • Expertise in the proper use of type, space, and color
  • Ability to create wireframes and high-resolution final designs and assets
  • Understanding of Agile design practices and ability to deliver a minimum viable design
  • Experience conducting user research and engaging with customers
  • Experience with prototyping tools or hand-coded HTML/CSS/JS is a plus
Requirements
  • BFA in Graphic Design or related field
  • 5+ years of Web Application design experience, preferably for a software company
  • A strong portfolio featuring relevant work examples
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work well with others in a fast-paced agile environment, with an emphasis on collaboration and assisting the team to meet business objectives
