Dental Hygienist

Job Description

My well-respected client is seeking a Dental Hygienist to their already well-established team. All of their staff members are offered continued training to assist in your transition into the role. They also offer a competitive compensation package which includes health insurance plans, a competitive bonus structure, PTO, and 401k. The ideal candidate for this position will have all, or the majority of the following:

• Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
• Take radiographs of patients using standard dental radiographic equipment.
• Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patients chart.
• Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as fluorides and sealants.
• Perform the following duties as applicable by practice and/or state laws:
  • Screen for Oral Cancer.
  • Take alginate impressions and fabricate whitening trays.

• Valid Dental Hygienist License Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Maintain up to date trainings as required by law.
• Versed in Dentrix is preferred.
• Certification for other duties as required by the state practice act.
