Badass Patches is a fast-growing, veteran-owned company serving military units, first responders, and organizations nationwide with custom gear. We’re known for exceptional customer service, fast turnaround times, and deep expertise in military patch regulations.
As we expand into a new warehouse in Raleigh, we’re hiring a Customer Service Specialist who puts customers first and can provide backup support for shipping, inventory, and fulfillment when needed.
What You’ll DoCustomer Service & Order Management (Primary Role)
- Act as a main point of contact for customers from order intake to delivery
- Manage custom patch orders, artwork details, proofs, and approvals
- Provide updates, solve problems quickly, and ensure a top‑tier customer experience
- Coordinate timelines across sales, production, and fulfillment
Fulfillment & Inventory Support (Secondary Role)
- Assist with picking, packing, and shipping orders during peak times
- Support inventory tracking, restocking, and audits
- Help handle returns, replacements, and re‑shipments
Process & Team Support
- Identify workflow improvements as we scale
- Support special projects, bulk orders, and high‑priority customers
- 2–3 years of customer service, e‑commerce, or operations experience
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Familiarity with Shopify, Ship Station, or similar tools
- Fulfillment or logistics experience
- Startup or small‑business background
- Interest in military, tactical, or first‑responder communities
- Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop experience
- Hybrid to start (first 1–3 months may be partially remote)
- Transition to mostly on‑site in Raleigh within 2–6 months
- Flexible schedule with core customer support availability
- $18–$22/hour (based on experience)
