Job OverviewLions Construction Company Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator - Horizontal Division to help drive growth by bidding and winning sitework and utility projects. This role will focus on generating new business opportunities, preparing accurate estimates, and managing the planning and invoicing process on awarded jobs. The ideal candidate thrives in building strong client relationships, has extensive knowledge of civil construction, and is motivated by the opportunity to maximize earnings through uncapped commissions.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain client relationships to generate repeat business.
- Attend networking events and follow up with existing and former contacts.
- Qualify leads, schedule site visits, and determine project scope and timelines.
- Prepare and present accurate proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with the Horizontal Superintendent to ensure smooth project planning and execution.
- Submit purchase orders and coordinate vendor materials and labor.
- Monitor project progress and ensure accurate invoicing and vendor payment approvals.
- Follow up after project completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Track and report metrics including proposals sent/won and project margins.
- 5+years of horizontal construction, construction management, and/or estimating experience.
- Strong knowledge of sitework and utility construction.
- Proven track record of converting bids into contracts.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and detail orientation.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).

- Base salary ($55,000) + uncapped commission structure based on project margin. Someone meeting expectations in this role has the potential to make $105,000+
