Commercial Electrical Estimator

Salary: Base $60,000 – $170,000 per year (includes commission and performance incentives)

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator to join us and play a key
role in preparing competitive bids and driving business growth.

• Review blueprints, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Submit accurate and timely bid proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Maintain strong supplier/subcontractor relationships to secure competitive pricing.
• Support project handoff and budget alignment with operations teams.
• Stay updated on codes, regulations, and industry trends.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Experience with large-scale commercial projects (healthcare, retail, education, industrial).
• Familiarity with construction management software.
