What You Will Do:

• Project Planning:
  Create comprehensive plans that outline project scope, goals, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Budget Management:
  Monitor and control project finances, ensuring that costs stay within budgetary constraints.
• Timeline Management:
  Keep projects on schedule by tracking progress, addressing delays, and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Subcontractor Management:
  Collaborate with subcontractors, material suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure obligations are met.
• Client Communication:
  Regularly update clients on project status, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive client relationship.
• Site Inspection:
  Conduct regular inspections to ensure work is being done according to specifications and quality standards.
• Problem Solving:
  Quickly address and resolve any issues that arise during the reconstruction process to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Documentation:
  Maintain detailed project documentation including invoices, work orders, change orders, supplements, and progress reports.
• Quality Control:
  Implement and monitor quality standards to ensure the reconstruction work meets or exceeds expectations.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Ensure that projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.

What You Will Need:

• 3+ years of residential construction experience
• 1+ year experience working with insurance claims in the restoration industry
• Construction Management degree and/or certification strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret insurance claim estimates, building specifications and other documents
• Working knowledge of project management and restoration software
