Job Summary

We areseekinga detail-oriented and analytical Construction Estimator to join our team. The Construction Estimator willbe responsible forpreparingaccuratecost estimates for construction projects by analyzing plans, specifications, materials, labor, and timelines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are financiallyviable, competitive, and completed within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications todeterminescope of work
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals
  • Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
  • Identify potential cost risks and value engineering opportunities
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients during preconstruction
  • Maintain historical cost data and estimating databases
  • Assist with change order pricing and cost revisions as needed
  • Ensure estimatescomply with company standards and project requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Proficiency with estimating software (Agtek,Plan Swift, Bluebeam/Adobe, Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with commercial and residential construction projects
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
  • Experience working with subcontractors and vendors
