About the CompanyWe are currently partnered with a market leading concrete specialist in the South East.
They are seeking a Concrete Project Manager to oversee and manage all phases of concrete construction projects in the Raleigh, NC area.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects successfully.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline. Manage all project stages from pre-construction to closeout.
- Team and Subcontractor Management: Lead, mentor, and coordinate project teams, including superintendents, foremen, and field crews. Oversee subcontractors to ensure work quality and adherence to schedules.
- Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project costs against the approved budget, managing change orders and ensuring project profitability.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time. Proactively identify and resolve potential delays.
- Quality and Safety Assurance: Enforce quality standards and safety protocols on all job sites, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns.
- Document Control: Manage all project-related documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and daily reports.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Project Manager or in a similar leadership role within the construction industry. A strong portfolio of completed concrete projects is often required.
- Thorough understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and standard office applications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
