Senior Construction Materials Field Technician

Join ECS Group of Companies as a Senior Construction Materials Field Technician in Raleigh. This role offers opportunities for professional development and advancement within the Field Services department.

• Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel on construction sites.
• Conduct routine field tests following industry standards and compliance.
• Collect and analyze data, prepare field reports, and document site observations accurately.
• Maintain communication with site contractors, project managers, and team members.
• Participate in training to develop skills in ECS methodologies for testing and inspection.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• High School diploma or GED; current basic certifications and at least two advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift 40-70 lbs regularly and occasionally lift up to 85 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of heavy construction safety practices.
• Proficiency with electronic devices and basic MS Office skills.
