Job OverviewMacallan Construction LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our Field Operations team in Raleigh, NC. This is a hands‑on, full‑time position where you'll lead on‑site operations for both new construction and renovation projects. Key Responsibilities- Manage daily on‑site operations and ensure project milestones are met.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors effectively.
- Conduct weekly toolbox safety meetings.
- Interpret and enforce building codes and OSHA regulations.
- Perform hands‑on work as needed to support progress.
- Read, interpret, and anticipate challenges within construction drawings.
- Maintain and manage schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Interface professionally with clients, owners, inspectors, and tradespeople.
- Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Submit field documentation and support project reporting needs.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial construction supervision.
- Proven ability to read construction drawings and manage complex schedules.
- Strong communication skills—able to interact confidently with owners, inspectors, and subcontractors.
- Basic skills in carpentry or trades are a plus.
- Certified OSHA 10‑Hour (required).
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
