Saint Mary’s Summer Programs is seeking enthusiastic, energetic individuals who enjoy working with children ages 6‑14 in a full‑day, four‑week camp program. Programs offer a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors. For the SMS Day Camp, this includes working in a specific camp, such as art, sports, dance, CSI, STEM, and many others. Additional skills include proactivity in addressing situations, a strong work ethic, and even‑temperedness.

Qualified candidates are caring and compassionate, able to engage and manage groups of children in various settings, and to communicate effectively both verbally and by example.

Counselors must be at least 16 years of age by June 1, 2026. Preference is given to candidates who can work the full four‑week camp session (June 15‑19, 22‑26, July 6‑10, 13‑17) and to those who can commit to at least two weeks of work during the summer. The hours are 8:15 am – 3:30 pm for each camp.

• Supervise and be responsible for a group of campers at all times
• Ensure the classroom where their group of campers meets is kept clean and in order
• Actively work with, play, and engage with campers
• Maintain a high level of energy throughout the camp day
• Assist with or lead games and activities with campers
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
