Position Summary
The Director, Market Insights serves as a key driver of data-informed decision-making for Specialty Networks. This role focuses on leveraging real-world data (RWD), advanced analytics, and market intelligence to support strategic initiatives across therapeutic areas. The Director translates complex data into actionable insights that inform product development, go-to-market strategies, and commercial execution.
Working closely with Product, Sales, and Strategy teams, this position ensures that Specialty Networks remains competitive and responsive to evolving provider, payer, and pharma needs through robust analytics and evidence-based recommendations.
This position reports to the SVP/GM, Specialty Networks.
This is a remote role with travel up to 30%.
ResponsibilitiesData & Analytics Leadership
Develop and maintain advanced analytics frameworks to monitor market trends, therapeutic area performance, and competitive dynamics.
Utilize RWD and commercial datasets to generate insights that guide business development, targeting, and product prioritization.
Create dashboards, reports, and predictive models to support executive decision-making and operational planning.
Market Intelligence & Insight Generation
Conduct ongoing analysis of pharma and biotech pipelines, M&A activity, and emerging scientific trends.
Deliver actionable intelligence through TA landscape reports, competitor benchmarking, and quarterly analytics briefs.
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure insights are integrated into product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Product, Sales, and Partnerships teams to validate new TA opportunities using data-driven methodologies.
Support alignment across marketing, provider engagement, and data product teams through clear analytics-based recommendations.
Quality and impact of analytics deliverables on strategic decisions
Adoption of insights in product and commercial strategies
Measurable improvements in targeting, engagement, and TA expansion outcomes
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
8–10 years in healthcare analytics, consulting, life sciences, or biopharma strategy with strong exposure to RWD and market intelligence, preferred
Experience in therapeutic area pipeline analysis and competitive landscaping
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis platforms (e.g., SAS, R, Python).
Strong understanding of specialty care ecosystems, including pharma commercialization and payer dynamics.
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; experience influencing cross-functional teams.
Ability to travel as needed (up to 30%)
$152,100 – $234,000
