Electroswitch Electronic Products has an immediate opening for a Channel Manager.
Reporting to the Sales Manager and working from our Raleigh, North Carolina location, this person will be a key contributor to Electroswitch’s expansion in Distribution Channel Sales.
This individual will be a primary driver in the development and execution of Electroswitch’s distribution strategy.
Examples of duties include:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution strategy based on best- in-class benchmarking.
- Establishes productive relationships with key personnel at key distributor partners.
- Proactively leads a joint planning process to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets and essential milestones with distributor partners.
- Ensure distribution partners understand how to navigate within organization and are proficient in using available tools.
- Evaluates performance of partners and fosters improvements.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with distributor agreements.
- Provides input to support the development of sales/marketing material and inventive programs required for distribution partners success.
- Directs leads developed within the channel to the appropriate sales individual.
- Own and manages the processes to support distributor inquiries, issues, questions, and concerns to satisfactory resolution.
- Manages channel conflict with other sales channels.
- Communication of market conditions to include opportunities and threats.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and product teams to align on customer needs and new product opportunities.
This position will require up to 25% travel.
Candidates’ background should include a bachelor’s degree in business and five years’ experience in channel management, or the equivalent.
Other desired attributes include a customer-first mindset, strong financial/analytical/business acumen to develop strategic plans, ability to lead and coach co-workers at all levels of the organization, and strong communications and presentation skills. The successful candidate will be able to develop relationships at all levels within distribution partners.
