Consumer Banking Product Manager role at First Citizens Bank
OverviewThis position is responsible for the profitability and growth of consumer deposit products. It reviews customer feedback, quantitative analysis, and market trends to facilitate the development of a profitable product set. The role coordinates all functions of development from conception to implementation and partners with Marketing, Sales, Digital, Compliance, IT, Operations, and other internal partners to drive deposit growth and enhance the customer experience while ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.
Responsibilities- Development – Assist in all stages of development for a consumer deposit product, including planning & design, resource compilation, execution, testing, and monitoring product launch. Track and report progress to appropriate parties.
- Product Management – Ensure products are developed and managed with a coordinated strategy, collaborating with internal and external parties to implement enhancements and resolve issues.
- Market and Data Analysis – Conduct analysis of market trends, changing regulations, competitor options, and evolving customer needs. Analyze internal data to monitor KPIs and proactively address portfolio trends. Recommend changes based on analysis results to increase profitability and product appeal.
- Customer Engagement – Track customer experience through all stages of a product and develop strategies to ensure customer satisfaction and acquisition.
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Product Management, or High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Product Management.
Preferred Area Of Experience- Consumer Deposit Product Management experience including product strategy and pricing.
- Experience in go‑to‑market strategies for Consumer Banking.
- Knowledge of Consumer Banking core systems and regulatory requirements.
