Description

Vector

VMS is the mid-market leader in vendor management solutions, and we’re just getting started! We believe managing your extended workforce shouldn’t be complicated. That’s why we build smart, intuitive technology that simplifies sourcing, onboarding, and managing contingent labor from start to finish.

We’re in the middle of something big: a full platform transformation that’s reimagining everything from our backend architecture to the user experience. We’re looking for a Product Manager who wants to be part of building the next generation of our product. If you love the challenge, thrive when juggling competing priorities, and get energized by turning client feedback into features that win deals—you’ll fit right in.

This is a high-impact role where your decisions directly shape our product roadmap and market growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Talk to clients, dig into the data, and uncover what they need, then turn those insights into clear product requirements
  • Own the backlog like it’s yours: keep it prioritized, groomed, and ready so your dev team always knows what’s next
  • Run sprints across time zones, keeping local and offshore teams aligned
  • Plan releases that move the needle by aligning key modernization work with necessary fixes that sets us up for the future
  • Make the tough calls on what gets built balancing keeping existing clients engaged while growing our market footprint
  • Protect the scope to make sure key features are shipping on time while maintaining quality
  • Be the translator between engineering, clients, and leadership, keeping everyone on the same page
  • Stay curious about the market maintaining a pulse on what competitors are doing and identifying opportunities to differentiate and grow
  • Partner with product marketing to turn releases into stories that resonate, ensuring both current clients and prospects see the value clearly
What You ll Bring
  • 3+ years in product management, ideally in B2B enterprise software, VMS, or the contingent workforce space
  • A track record of making hard prioritization calls and keeping scope from creeping
  • Strong methodology for collecting client and market requirements and distilling them into specs your engineers will easily deliver on
  • A product forward mindset that champion what matters to users, weigh the complexity trade-offs, and bring the rigor that keeps us shipping great work
  • Experience working with distributed teams keeping all parties aligned
  • Sharp time management skills allowing you to hit deadlines and help your team do the same
  • Adaptable communication skills that allow you to effectively relay information to all types of stakeholders
  • Confident engaging with clients and external partner with the ability to build trust, gather insights, and champion VectorVMS
Nice to Have
  • You’ve lived in Jira (or a similar tool) and know how to make it work for you
  • Platform modernization experience beyond the UI
  • SQL skills to pull your own usage data
  • Experience with Clarity Analytics
  • Background in VMS, staffing, or contingent workforce
  • Experience with agile development
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development
  • A collaborative and innovative work environment
