Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Purchasing Buyer for a growing client in Raleigh. This role is responsible for independently managing procurement activities while collaborating closely with internal teams and external suppliers. The ideal candidate will develop strong technical knowledge of products and services required for U.S. operations and ensure supplier performance meets standards for quality, cost, availability, reliability, sustainability, and alignment with the parent company.

Responsibilities
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams including Application Engineers, Designers, Assembly, suppliers, and the parent company.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and source all U.S.

    -based products and services.
  • Manage inventory levels by placing, tracking, and maintaining purchase orders with vendors and fabricators.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of goods and services supporting U.S. operations.
  • Support the development and implementation of U.S.

    -based procurement policies and procedures as the organization grows.
  • Evaluate, interview, and visit suppliers to assess capabilities, pricing, and quality standards.
  • Analyze pricing proposals and supplier data to determine cost competitiveness and value.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address quality issues and continuous improvement opportunities.
Requirements
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working with an ERP system required.
  • CPP or CSCP certification preferred, or equivalent procurement experience.
  • PMP certification preferred, or equivalent project management experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for supplier qualification and audit visits.
  • Proven experience procuring technical products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage procurement activities across the full sourcing lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
