We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive organic occupancy growth through external outreach, community partnerships, and non-paid referral development at The Willows s role is primarily focused on relationship-based business development, with some inside sales support as needed.
This is a high-visibility opportunity for a relationship-driven professional with experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or community-based sales.
Business Development ManagerKey Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a structured external outreach strategy to generate non-paid referrals
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, rehab centers, physicians, elder-law attorneys, financial planners, senior centers, employers, and faith-based organizations
- Re-engage dormant referral sources and past prospects
- Plan and host professional lunches, educational events, and community programs
- Represent the community at networking events and local organizations
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the community and Solera Senior Living
- Support inquiry follow-up and tours during peak periods as needed
- Maintain accurate CRM documentation and referral tracking
- Growth in non-paid referral inquiries
- Expansion of active referral partners
- Referral inquiry-to-tour conversion
- Quality and consistency of outreach events
- Increased repeat referrals
- 3–5+ years of experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or relationship-based sales
- Proven success in external business development and community outreach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a local territory
- CRM experience preferred
