Position

Technician C role overview: technicians complete routine scheduled maintenance as directed by a Manager or Service Advisor, perform basic automotive repair and maintenance procedures, and support the overall shop operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair orders
  • Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advanced repair and maintenance services, etc.
  • Drive vehicles into service bay, prepare them for and complete digital vehicle inspections
  • Test drive vehicles and prepare them for delivery to customers after necessary repairs and maintenance
  • Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member/customer experience

Work Schedule
  • Monday - Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm
  • Saturday, 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Closed Sundays and major holidays
Qualifications
  • High School diploma, GED or technical school graduate; relevant certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum of 6 months relevant automotive repair experience or completion of a formal automotive training program
  • Knowledge of automotive/truck systems, tools and resources; ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE certifications (A4-A suspension & steering, A5 brakes) or equivalent
  • G1 auto maintenance & light repair preferred
  • State inspection and AC 609 certifications where applicable
Work Environment
  • May experience loud noises and odors in the shop
  • Physical requirements:

    standing, walking, lifting up to approximately 80 pounds; must have own tools appropriate for the role
  • Work in hot environments; some facilities may not be air conditioned
  • Must be able to work on your feet in a concrete facility for the entire shift
