Accounting Manager

A growing organization with a national presence is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its expanding finance team. This is a key role within the finance organization and will support financial reporting, technical accounting analysis, and core accounting operations. The position offers exposure to a wide range of accounting activities and works closely with senior leadership. Professionals with experience in public accounting, industry accounting, or a combination of both are encouraged to apply.

• Support and help lead the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Analyze month end results and perform variance analysis to identify trends and explain business performance.
• Assist with revenue recognition analysis in accordance with ASC 606 guidance.
• Partner with finance leadership to support external audit activities, including preparation of supporting schedules and audit documentation.
• Review account reconciliations and accounting work papers, ensuring appropriate documentation and adherence to U.S. GAAP.
• Research and apply technical accounting guidance across various areas of accounting as business needs evolve.
• Contribute to process improvements and internal controls

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, CPA or in progress is required
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Background in public accounting, industry accounting, or a combination of both
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
