Senior Revenue Accountant

We are recruiting a Senior Revenue Accountant for rapidly expanding company that is headquartered in Raleigh. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of revenue processes in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, developing scalable processes, and influencing operational decision-making across departments.

• Own monthly revenue accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities.
• Review customer contracts and purchase orders to assess revenue treatment under ASC 606, especially for multi-element arrangements.
• Partner with Legal, Sales, Billing, and FP&A teams to review deals and ensure appropriate revenue recognition.
• Draft technical memos and support documentation for internal stakeholders and auditors.
• Prepare monthly revenue and cost of revenue reporting packages and assist with internal KPI tracking.
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of revenue policies and internal controls.
• Support special projects tied to systems, automation, and process improvements across the broader accounting function.

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in revenue accounting, GL accounting, or public accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CPA in process.
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition best practices.
• Comfortable with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
