About the TeamOur Accounting team ensures the integrity, transparency, and scalability of our financial reporting. Technical Accounting & Reporting supports strategic decision‑making by translating complex transactions into clear, compliant, and actionable financial information. We collaborate across functions and serve as trusted advisors to leadership, positioning the company for public‑company standards and long‑term success.
About the RoleThis high‑impact opportunity supports the Company’s external financial reporting and shapes accounting policies & controls. You will work with the Manager of Technical Accounting & Reporting on financial statement and disclosure deliverables, technical accounting memos, and the continuous development of accounting policies. The role is cross‑functional, offering visibility into strategic transactions and key business initiatives.
Responsibilities- Support quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, including schedules and disclosures
- Research and document technical accounting matters (e.g., ASC 606) to ensure GAAP and SEC compliance
- Drive implementation of scalable financial reporting processes
- Monitor new accounting pronouncements and reporting best practices
- Partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, Legal, and external auditors
- Drive process improvements in financial close and reporting cycles
- Support audit, SOX compliance, and internal control enhancements
- 5+ years total experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit
- 3+ years SEC reporting experience or exposure to U.S. GAAP/SEC public‑company audits
- CPA license
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, especially revenue recognition
- Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth tech or startup environment
- Demonstrated ability to research and translate complex accounting into clear business communication
- 2+ years in public accounting or Big 4 audit experience
- Experience with Workiva or similar SEC reporting tools
- Familiarity with tools such as Net Suite and Flo Qast
- Experience in venture‑backed companies at a growth stage
